Welcome to Healthy Earth – Healthy You. My name is Irina. I am a Blogger and Civil Engineer. On this page I want to share with you what I learned over the years about Gardening, Cooking and Green Living.
I used to live for 13 years on a bush block near Esperance in the south-west corner of Australia. (Read my German blog Aussie Buschfunk about my life in the Australian bush!) I learned so much and loved it. But everything has to come to an end. After being hurt so much, I moved to town with my kids, where I live in a rental and garden in pots until I find my own little paradise.
I am totally obsessed with healthy food and I am constantly trying out and creating new recipes. My diet isn’t perfect, but I do try to eat as much wholesome, organic food as possible. Food created by Mother Nature is my favourite. So every day you can find me munching delicacies like tomatoes, grapes and figs straight from my garden.
I prefer herbal remedies and alternative treatment to traditional medicine. The effect of essential oils on out body, mind and feelings totally fascinate me. Maybe I was a witch in at least one past life. 😉
The only way to stay healthy is to keep our Earth healthy, so I am trying to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. Recycling, composting and making my own cleaning products are some of the things I do. This website is also hosted green through wind energy. How cool is that?
